Women of Glendale
The exhibit will present the stories of nearly three dozen Glendale women who led action that inspired innovation and change, and whose contributions were the impetus for new ideas and thought that positively influenced society.
Each woman featured in the “Women of Glendale” exhibit helped shape the history and culture of our Village and beyond between 1855 and 2000. Trustee Nancy Macenko, who is coordinating the project, called the exhibit “a powerful tribute to women who were pathfinders for those who followed. It is a moving collection of narratives about Glendale women of passion and strength, who changed hearts, lives and communities. Glendale Heritage Preservation is proud to present their stories.
