Clerk & Treasurer

The Clerk and Treasurer are two elected positions in the Village of Glendale. Rebecca Terrell is the Clerk and Michael Beaugrand is the Treasurer.

The Clerk serves as the Clerk of Council, meaning they are responsible for the preparation and posting of Village Council meeting minutes. Additionally, the Clerk authenticates official copies of records and documents on behalf of the Village. The Clerk also serves as the Fiscal Officer for the Village. This means the Clerk maintains the accounting procedure for the Village (with assistance from the Village administrative staff) and certifies estimated revenues and appropriations to Hamilton County.

The Treasurer maintains the investment funds of the Village, as well as ensures proper recording and disbursement of funds. The Treasurer signs each check written by the Village, ensuring proper accounting and payment based on documentation prepared by the Village administrative staff and approved by the Clerk.
