Rumpke provides unlimited large item collection as part of their service to the Village. Items like mattresses, furniture and televisions may be placed out with your regular trash. Upholstered items such as mattresses and furniture must be wrapped in plastic in order to ensure collection.

Residents are required to supply their own garbage can. Cans should have securely fitting lids and should not weigh over 50 pounds when filled. Cans with a lift bar should not weigh more than 75 pounds.  Each property should have a Rumpke recycling container for recyclables.
RecyclingThe Village of Glendale is proud to offer curbside recycling to residents. Recycling has many benefits for our planet and our community. Rumpke and the Village want to make it as easy as possible to recycle, so every home in the Village is provided with a recycling container at no extra charge. Simply fill this bin with recyclable items and place it at the curb for collection on your regular trash day.
