Monica “Nikki” Alles-White
I have been a councilmember since 1998. I have chaired the Finance, Recreation and Parks, and Utilities committees. I co-chaired the 2000 Village Master Plan Traffic Committee. Currently, I am chairing the Village’s Health committee as we develop our Cities Readiness Plan to prepare for a public health emergency.
As the chair of the Recreation and Parks committee, I was instrumental in securing new playground equipment at Washington, Lake, and Cleveland parks. For our village’s 150th Birthday celebration, I came up with the concept of the decorated fiberglass squirrels, and developed 3 walking paths around them to increase enjoyment of them.
I am a registered and licensed dietitian and work as a consultant for county, health and nonprofit agencies. I have managed a one million dollar budget, created strategic plans, served as Acting Health Commissioner, and started Hamilton County’s Injury Surveillance Project.
I was a two-term president (1995-96) and member of Glendale Youth Sports. I am a member of Glendale Heritage Preservation.
Feel free to contact me with any of your village concerns!
